    1. So precious. Thank you for sharing these pictures of Kai- he is beautiful. I still love the pics of my little ones feet, hands, nose at birth… Truly a favorite. So amazing. Thank you, heather xoxo

  6. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and this speaks volumes. He is perfectly beautiful! Thank you for sharing Kai with the world!

  7. The close-up moments and memories of snuggling and smelling our babies really are the most important. I took photos of the fuzzy hair on the back of my girls’ heads as newborns. I still regret not getting close-ups of their almost-preemie hairy shoulders.

    I love Kai’s little toes. ❤

  8. I am praying for all of you and for Kai. In this awful inevitability, may God grant him a gentle passing with Angels to guide him. I pray that God stations his Angels around your family at the right time, to hold each of you softly in their protective wings and shelter you and comfort you and you watch this process unfold before you. You are in my prayers and I hope that you know that your perfectly beautiful son will be with you again, far above this earth, beyond the starry skies. You will meet among the Angels, who don’t have a word that means goodbye.

  9. He is love. Kerri, I find it hard to think about anything but you and that beautiful baby that is surrounded by your love.

  10. Drink in all the memories of every beautiful part of him. You created that sweet little boy. I wish miracles could come true.

  11. I am thinking of you often and praying continually. I hurt and cry for you. I know it feels like you are going through this alone, but we are many. Many crying with you, praying for you. We won’t let you go through this alone. Please keep your eyes on Jesus

  13. These are the types of images I hope you treasure forever. They are perfect because they are your boy who you love so deeply. Every inch and to a depth he can never possibly know. My thoughts are with you, Kai, and your family. I hope for healing. For each of you.

  14. You don’t know me, and probably never will. I cry for Kai nightly and pray for Kai daily as I read your blog. I speak about little Kai to others regularly. Kai has fulfilled God’s purpose for him- he has touched more lives than you will ever know. You and Kai were meant to be together, and meant to fulfill God’s purpose. You are an amazing person- keep doing what you do- you will be rewarded, even though you already have been by having sweet Kai in your life.

  15. Hi Kerri. I have never met you. I have never met Kai. I worked with Amy Disney years ago right before she had Brianna. And because we are friends on Facebook I was introduced to Kai after she posted your blog one day. I am in awe that I am touched so deeply and affected so much by this little beautiful boy I’ve never met. Every night I read your blog to my husband. I cry. I walk into my kids bedrooms. My daughter is 9 and my boys are 7 and 3. I hug them tighter. I think twice before I yell. I have more patience. All because of Kai. You are so lucky to have Kai and he is so lucky to have you. I just wanted you to know that you and Kai have touched me and my family. I hope tonight you have more kisses, more hugs, more anything with your beautiful boy. He has touched so many lives. Thinking of you.

  16. Kai is so very beautiful and has captured so many hearts. The pictures are beyond words, you have captured the very essence of Kai . Wishing him a safe passage to a place where he is able to laugh, cry, play, run and all the other things he did not get the chance to this time. He so deserves it.
