The wedding!

****A week ago today***

Just as soon as I thought things would be slowing down a bit, life has been busier than ever.

After a non-stop week of Perkins, respite, VNA, and therapies, we packed up the car Friday and headed down to Connecticut for Uncle Pat’s wedding!!
The wedding was just perfect and everyone had a blast from start to finnish! I am honored to have been a part of this special day for my brother and Lisa. It was an amazing feeling to be surrounded by all of our wonderful family and friends. Lisa’s family has shown us such love and support for Kai and our family from the beginning, I am thankful to have spent this quality time with them getting to know them even more.
And of course I could not be happier that Lisa is now officially Kai’s Auntie!!!
We have missed most major family functions since Kai was diagnosed, due to illness or hospitalization, so I am very thankful we were all able to be there to celebrate with Pat and Lisa. Kai did well. He had lots of snuggles and hugs all weekend and he looked so cute in his fancy little dressy cloths.
Congratulations Pat and Lisa!
We love you so much and are so happy to be a part of your special day.

I’m hopping the professional photographer got some good shots of Kai. It is so hard to get a good picture of him lately. I feel like every picture is of him in his wheelchair or curled up sleeping.
